Tee EOTD Guide
Use this page when staff need to manage Edit of the Day without guessing what each button does.
Generate a Poll
- Open the dashboard, set the selection start and end date, then press Generate rotation preview.
- Check the preview. Press Post current poll to post the saved poll as Tee in the configured staff and poll channels.
- Use Delete poll to remove the remembered poll message from the pool channel.
- Or use
/eotd-post-pool start_date:YYYY-MM-DD end_date:YYYY-MM-DD,/eotd-post-current-poll, and/eotd-delete-pollfrom Discord.
Poll Commands
/eotd-am-i-in-polltells a user if they are currently selected./eotd-poll-listposts the poll as dates plus usernames only. It does not tag anyone./eotd-skipmeskips today's EOTD if the user is the active picker, otherwise it skips the user one time on the next generation.
Reminders
EOTD has no required posting time. Reminder settings only decide when Tee checks and nudges the selected editor if they have not posted yet. Use interval minutes and max reminders to tune the reminder schedule.
AI And DMs
Users can ask Tee AI with /question. Plain DM text is supported when Discord forwards message events to the Worker endpoint; non-staff limits still apply, staff remain unlimited.
Names And IDs
The dashboard and poll show display names. Hover names to see usernames and Discord IDs when staff need exact identity checks.
